Well, I was anticipating this month being a little better than June was.
However it appears that people are still all over the map. I’m
seeing a broad range of depression, and escalated drug and alcohol abuse. While speaking to another professional
the other day I realized that we’re all seeing this no matter what profession we’re in. He and I are not even
in the same industry.
Have things become so terrible to bear
that we’re choosing to become so oblivious to the real problems surrounding our lives at the present time? How are we
going to make a difference if we’re too F***KED-UP TO NOTICE?
When we’re feeling depressed and down and out- we need to do everything to keep, our bodies, minds, and spirits
at their peaks. This is by sticking to our chosen diets, work out programs, and meditations or daily mantras.
We can see every day that the circumstances & affairs
around us are in a delicate state of balance. Yes it’s totally depressing; but, we can’t create a sabotaging mind
set.
Reach out to friends, family, and people
you know make a positive impact in your life. Surround yourself with your pets and the things you love- no matter what that
may be.
It will improve over the next few months.
2009 will also provide challenges for the U.S. with other domestic problems. If we implement the right tools now, we will
be better prepared to weather another year of drama.
Try to hang in there guys. Believe me- there is someone else out there with a worse story or problem than you may
be experiencing. That doesn’t negate the importance of your problem. It does however put a perspective on your troubles-
even if it’s only temporary. Remember, each day to ask yourself 1 thing: “What am I thankful for today?”
There is always something- you just have to look for it!
